Quick post to show the Mary E, Friends and Flowers, baby quilt top...DONE!!! Well, not really done, done but the top is done and ready for the quilter to work her magic on. It was a really fun one to do...those tumblers go together pretty quick and easy...all 500+ of them.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! Over 500 of them....I am in awe. It is beautiful. I have a confession to make- after I saw beginnings of your quilt on your blog I ordered a template to make one myself. I got it yesterday and it is sort of small. What size is your template or were they already cut? I can't imagine cutting out that many.

what a great idea for a baby quilt.
now you need to start cutting for a bed quilt for yourself out of all the fabrics you use this next year!
throw them in a shoe box, you will be amazed at how fast that box fills up!

ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I have wanted to do with my Jelly roll and charm pack with ME fabrics...but never even got close ito making...wanted to find a ruler for tumblers...but nah..nothing found.. So I was so happy to see your lovely quilt!!! Maybe there is hope for me..lol..
