It's finished...I'm so excited...I really like it a lot and I finished it before the new one started...YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about
The Fat Quarter Shop and their BOM's...always on time, perfect instructions and more than enough fabric...I'm ready for the new one to begin. I think this is the first time in my quilting life that I stayed caught up with a BOM and finished putting it together before the next one began...Can you tell I'm very proud of myself?
Have a wonderful weekend!
It's beautiful. Perhaps you will inspire me to whip out a couple more of my blocks!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I think I like the red with green dots on yours better than the green with red dots on mine (for the sashing). And don't you think it's a great size? I got my back pieced last night...might even have it quilted before the next one starts!!!

ReplyDeleteYou should be proud - it's a beauty. And I, for sure, know the struggle with BOM's. They are always the most difficult to finish, but the most satisfying when done. Way to go *s*

ReplyDeleteIt turned out just beautiful. Way to go. Does it count that I took my block out of the packaging and put it on my sewing table. I have good intentions.
ReplyDeleteIt's really beautiful! You should be proud of yourself for finishing. It's so funny I was just looking at my pile (I've finished a whopping 2 blocks!!!!) and thinking I should get busy and finish in time for Christmas!! I don't remember if i ever ordered the finishing kit or not....better go hunting lol!!!!
ReplyDeleteYummers! I'm not one to go for BOM because I don't trust myself to keep up with them but YOU are an inspiration. Wow! What a beauty, Carol.
ReplyDeleteKeep dry down there. *karendianne.
Carol,
ReplyDeleteContgrats on getting this together so quickly - I love it.
I'm glad to see how good the green border looks - I was undecided on whether to use this or switch to something else. My blocks are all done and assembled into rows, but I was holding off the border...
Seeing how great yours looks - I'm ready to finish!
You can be very proud and it is beautifull.
ReplyDelete2nd comment...Sunday night and no Amazing Race. :-) Post something! LOL
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! That is gorgeous! How are you planning on quilting it?
ReplyDeleteI think that I need to start mine...especially because I signed up for the new BOM.

ReplyDeleteYou've done a great job! I'm down to my last block, then to put the final row on. I can't wait to get it quilted!!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous. What a great advertisement for Fatquarter Shop BOM clubs!
ReplyDeleteYou are like the model quilter...you kept up with your deadlines, make it look so easy and not to mention perfect!!! The FQS elves must be loving you right now for all of this great PR! I know what you mean though, you gotta love the FQS. LOVE THEM. Speaking of LOVE, this is so darling. You should be proud. It is a big accomplishment keeping up with it all...and you did it. So the big question is, is this one for you or a gift? Either way, the owner will love it.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is awesome! I have always wondered what the "designer" BOM's looked like. Now I wish I had signed up. I will have to check out the next one. Thanks for the eye candy!
