It's a Butter Churn...

...and I really like it. This is the November project for LePetite...Butter Churn by This & That...I sure had fun doing this one. I used Maison de Garance by French General...and I have to tell you, I am in LOVE with the fabric. I also put some Park Avenue by 3 Sisters in for the blue...this seems to be a pattern for me...I'm using those lines of fabric in my Rosettes too. Just can't get enough of these fabrics!

  1. Carol, I just love your Butter Churn! The colors look so rich. I really like that you mixed Park Avenue in too. Perfect! I'm just starting mine right now as I write this. Nothing like going down to the wire!

  4. I really like those colors, too. Haven't been shopping lately for fabric so I don't really know what's out there. STILL going through my stash from when I closed my shop 7 years ago!

  10. I love it too! Park Avenue matches well with Maison de Garance. I have a layer cake of Maison de Garance, don't know what I'll make with it yet. I love Park Avenue fabric, guess that's why I have so much of it. Good job on your Butter Churn quilt, mine is almost done.

  14. I love this block, and the little bit of blue you threw in, perfect! There's just a touch of blue in a couple of the floral prints of Maison de Garance, I was disappointed a few blue prints weren't added to that family. I wonder if it's too late to get some of that Park Avenue, those two families do play well together.

  32. I am LOVING the fabric choice you used, Carol.

I have purchased more than I care to share of the "Park Avenue" line. I think I have such a fondness for it because it reminds me of "Chocolat" they put out a couple years ago that I am hoarding. LOL

Happy Saturday to you dear Lady.
