Jami was welcomed into heaven last evening at 7:00...I just know that heaven is a happier place today...I'll bet she's already teaching a group of ladies how to quilt.

Carol, I know the Angels are rejoicing! But though that and the fact she is no longer in pain, may offer you some comfort, I know it doesn't ease the pain of your loss. I'm so sorry my sweet friend. Such sad news again today. I know that you made the last few weeks of Jami's life happier by sending the troops in to help her fulfill her final goal for soldiers. The world needs more giving, kind and thoughtful women like her. She will be missed. And I agree wholeheartedly with Stitched With a Prayer's comment - no doubt the Heaven's Gate Guild is already recruiting up there!!
I am so sorry you have lost a dear friend, but as a dear friend, I know you are thankful her struggle is over. May God give you comfort and peace during this time of loss.

Hi Carol, I was actually thinking of you today and your Mom and then I read this post...your friend, Jami sounds amazing and she is in a much better place especially with her wings...wish I could have met her....but you must have been a Great Friend for her and I am sure she is keeping a special place for you up there in Heaven!!
