Getting Done and I'm HAPPY!

This was a very productive weekend...got my first August project for Charming Girls Club done yesterday afternoon...the Christmas Zig Zag top is done...it's a very fun top.

Yesterday's mail brought this month's installment of Simply Sophisticated...it was an easy block...so I decided to just get it done! Oh how I love being able to say "I'm up to date on this BOM!"

Oh how I love weekends like this...sewing, sewing, sewing!

  7. I, too, am always proud of myself when the BOM block(s) get done early and I am not rushing to get them done in time. I am doing one with my LQS and four online. By Jan/Feb I should have lots of UFOs to quilt. LOL

  8. Ah yes, very productive weekend indeed! It was here too until I came to a screeching halt! This quilt that I'm working on keeps telling me Little Miss...oh boy is it pink! Anyway, the halt came when I found that the inner striped border is short on fabric! I've got an emergency email to the gal who sold me the kit in hopes she still has ONE 2.5" strip of the strip. I'm near ill as I thought I would have a wonderful show and share tomorrow!
