I've Been Staying Busy

Keeping my hands busy, playing with fabric and listening to my machine whir is good for my spirit...each day this week has gotten better and we're getting used to our "new normal"...Howie's doing well...as we've gotten better, he's gotten better.

I finished my ornament quilt this week and I'm lovin' it...
it's a combination of Twelve Days of Christmas and Joy both by Kate Spain and the pattern is a Thimbleblossoms pattern by Camille.  It was so fun to do...enjoyed every minute of sewing this one.  Yes that's Mr. Brown Quilts holding up the top...he loves doing his Wilson pose.

  5. Oh Carol, I love the quilt, I have been seeing this one a lot and it is so darned adorable. Ya know it's so true that sewing is complete and total therapy. When I'm stressed or down, and have free time I head straight for my sewing room. I find so much healing peace in there, it is a perfect place to heal. Well, big hugs coming to you and would you add a few extra scratches and hugs to all the others lined up for Howie??? LOL ...
