Relay for Life is a Flimsy

I am just thrilled to report that the Relay for Life top that I've been working on is to the flimsy stage. It is a Buggy Barn pattern called Circle of Love from their book Around the Bend. Not the typical Buggy Barn pattern where you use the freezer paper and cut and shift...this one has tons of pieces and they all had to go together correctly to form the hearts. It was way more work than I thought when I began the project, but I love the end result. I can hardly wait to get it quilted and give it to them. Andy loves it and said that I would have to bring it to the office and give it to them...he knows they will all cry. I said I'd mail it to them :) I switched to BETA this morning after not being able to comment on anyone's blogs for 2 days...it was a light bulb moment and with Libby's (Simple Girl) help I got it done. So far, so good...I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The hardest thing has been keeping my sign in name and password right. I keep going back to the old one and they keep saying it doesn't exist any more. I am so techno challenged, but this has taken me to a whole new level. Off to the grocery to get the ingredients for some Holiday Mix (white chocolate, pretzels, M&M's, peanuts, Chex and Cheerios) for Andy to take into work and I'm going to take some to the shop. Everybody just loves it .

I love the quilt. I too switched to Beta today because I couldn't comment on most blogs. We'll see how it goes.

Wow - love the quilt . . . the hearts, the stars and the circles. I love when blocks make other images show up.
Glad your switch went smoothly. Keep getting hung up on the sign in too. Guess is will all feel natural before we know it *s*

That turned out great! And it is a very different pattern, too. Nice job, I'm sure the recipients will love it.

What an interesting pattern! The hearts jump out and the stars recede--how fun! Lots of pieces it looks like.

Sorry I am so late in commenting. Now that the commissioned work is off my hands it feels like I have had a reprieve and can go read all the blogs and I subscribe to and get caught up a bit.

That definitely isn't the usual Buggy Barn style but no less lovely for it - it will make a beautiful quilt!
