Kinda Slow Here

We are truly in the Hot, lazy, hazy days of summer...OMG is it really even officially summer? We had Memorial Day and that's usually the kick off for summer but it doesn't officially begin until June 20, or so says my official Chick Fil A calendar...nobody told the weather that...it is HOT and HUMID here...today is supposed to be 95 degrees with a heat index of way over 100. I don't want to go outside so you would think I'd have tons to show for it, but I'm just being a lazy girl.
I have been working on a quilt that I'm donating to Country Loft's quilt show and sale for cancer research. I'll take a picture of that one when I finish the top...it really is pretty...I'm using a Miss Rosie pattern and an old 3 Sister's group of fabric. That's been taking up most of my time, but I did do a little table topper from some charm squares of Red, White and Bold...easy and quick as can be...

I need to get some stitchery things prepped to take with me next week when I go to Birmingham to see my little man. That's part of my To Do List today...
I have been doing some sorting in my sewing room in the past few days so here are 3 stacks of Buttercream and Figs by Fig Tree Quilts. If you're interested e-mail me at goodhomequiltco@aol.com

This one is 10- 1/2 yard pieces $30 SOLD-Thanks bunches

12- 1/2 yard pieces $35 SOLD-Thanks so much

There are 2- 2yard pieces plus other varying size pieces for 9-1/4 yards $50 SOLD

Better get upstairs and getting going on something or I won't get a thing done today...have a great day...

Cute table topper! That is one of my favorite ways to use charm packs :) We had some of that weather here...last week? Wow I can't even remember now, I do remember that it was miserable. Good for you donating a quilt!! I love Miss Rosie's patterns and 3 sisters so I can't wait to see it :)

Man, it's hot down there! Nice to see those bright colors in your table topper -- perfect for summer!

Funny that you mention hot. It's hot here too. Could it be because we live so close to each other? Maybe. It is usually a bit cooler here at the coast than inland, but with this kind of heat and humidity, I don't think it makes much difference.

I don't function very well when it's super hot out, either. I can't wait to see the quilt you're creating for Country Loft's quilt show. Love the table topper - it's sooooo cute! I'm all for quick and easy.

Hot here today - low 90's. I am not ready for the heat, but guess it still is going to come. Love your topper.
