Cute Block, Cute Boy

I've committed to doing 1 block every month of the "Christmas List" pattern by Donna Yackey...here's this month's...Now I know all of you that have made this quilt are thinking, that's not the right block...I did the first block a while ago and then didn't pay any attention when I pulled out this block...it's Block # 8...a little out of order...I've pulled #2 for February...OMG, I just said February...that is so hard to believe...January is done...tomorrow is February...YIKES!
Katie sent me some pictures of Hampton the other day and I just had to share a couple...here he is drawing on the easel that Andy aka Grandy and I gave him for Christmas...
Katie said he just loves to draw with the chalk. She said he'll sit there for the longest time and just draw and draw.
This one is so funny...he got the beads at the Christmas parade...He puts the 2 strands of beads on and twists them around like he sees Josh do with his tie every morning...he gets it all twirled together and tells Katie that he's going to work. Gosh he's cute! I am a little biased I think...LOL!

What a cutie your little fella is . . . . don't they just say the sweetest things *s*
Love that snowman . . . . doesn't matter which block you stitch first - they'll all be done at the end of the year.

Looks like Hampton loves his easel, maybe a new artist in the family. Maybe your bias but Hampton is a cutie!
Its a perfect month to make a snowman, who will know the order when its complete.

Your block is cute but that little barefoot boy is cuter. I think he is going to be an artist.

I love your snowman! I think that I might want to have him in my home. What pattern are you doing?

BTW- I see that you are reading Something Borrowed. How do you like it? I have the sequel, so just let me know if you would like me to mail it to you.

Have a good day!

Love the snowman! And Hampton? What a sweetie! I love the box he's using as a seat while he draws on the chalkboard, LOL

He is so sweet! Of course, having a little boy...I am probably a bit biased now, too. He is just darling. You must enjoy your time with him. They grow so fast.

I don't think it matters in what order you do your blocks - Mr. Snowman is just too cute! Speaking of too cute, Hampton is adorable!! Isn't it wonderful to know how much he loves the easel? He's an artist already.

The snowman block is as cute as can be, even if it is out of order. My pattern arrived before I went to the hospital, but I did not have time to prep any blocks on it. Someday soon, I hope!
