Fun Family Time

I don't think there's anything better than fun family time. We spent last weekend in Birmingham for Camden's baptism. I had every intention of posting about this before now, but I just don't know where the week went. We went up last Friday and came home on Monday. We did decide that the trip is too long, 9 hours each way, to do that quickly. We need to have more time before we turn around and come home. We had a great time...mom was in heaven...she spent many hours sitting in the chair holding Camden, awake and asleep, she never wanted to put her down. It was just wonderful...she talked to her for hours, rocked her, watched her sleep...she couldn't have been happier. She also got lots of Hampton hugs...Happy, Happy Nana!

I always take something for Hampton...this time I took Nedra's suggestion and took him a bowling set. OMG, he had more fun with that, he loved setting the pins back up as much as knocking them down. Thanks Nedra...it was a perfect gift.

Sunday was Camden's baptism...what a very special day it was. Camden was so happy through the whole service. Katie's mom made Camden's dress and it was just beautiful. Again, mom was on top of the world through the service. Her second great grandchild being baptized...4 generations together...it was a great day. I had some great Hampton time too...

What an abundance of Generational love! Camden's baptismal gown is divine.

Reading and watching Hampton with the bowling ball game smacked a smile right on my face.

Oh my goodness! Camden has really grown since you posted a picture of her. Oh, so pretty in her christening gown. And Hampton is dressed in a really cute outfit, too.
I know I said it before, but you look a lot like your mom. She does look as happy as can be there with her grandchildren. Does she get as excited when she sees you? LOL!

If you are going out, do not hesitate to add metal details to your wardrobe.
Choose a long-sleeved Pakistani casual dresses for the wedding party and a short or knee-length party for later parties.
