It was a gray, rainy, chilly day outside...it was an absolutely glorious day inside. Thank you Kelly and Joan for hosting such a fun party. I got lots done and enjoyed visiting with lots of Charming Girls. It was so fun to spend the day sewing with all of you!
Here's what I got done...I finished my Sunday Best Schnibble for this month and I got 10 of the 12 blocks done for Camden's quilt. I'll finish those tomorrow and start putting it together. I'm so excited because now I'll be able to get it to my quilter, get the binding on and give it to her for her first birthday.
Speaking of Little Miss, Katie sent this picture yesterday...look at those polka dot shoes!
It was a great day, I'm going to do some binding and watch some more Olympic coverage. Have a great evening!

Quilts look great, and oh those cute polka dot shoes :)
Love the polka dot shoes! Your Schnibbles quilt is so nice, it definitely looks like Civil War fabric, perhaps Civil War Homefront. That's so funny that we both did our spring sewing with Birdy fabric.
Oh Carol - I love your Sunday Best - and Camden's quilt is turning out so cute! She's such a cutie - pie. And, I LOVE those polka dot shoes! Enjoy your binding.

I saw some shoes kind of like those at the retreat, and they had "squeekers" in them. As much as I loved the polka dots, I ended up getting the pink sparkly ones for my grand daughter, because I thought they would go with more outfits. Now I wish I had gotten both!
It is so much fun to sew with friends! I love the Sunday's best quilt and your other blocks look fabulous!!
Hi Carol,
