I Got a Lot Done

I'm finally catching up, I think...finally getting a post with what I got done last week at our retreat. It's sure amazing how much can get done when there's no phone, no computer, no laundry, cooking, cleaning...really not anything but sewing, eating, talking, laughing and sewing more.

This is Moose on the Loose......Carrie Nelson designed this wonderful quilt and has the instructions on her blog. It was so much fun to do. Since I got home I added the other 3 piano key borders and the black outer border. I'll show it again when it's quilted.

I got this baby quilt done......lots and lots of 30's fabrics. Can't wait to get this one back from the quilter...I think something swirly would be fun.

Here's mom's birthday quilt...finished up the blocks and got the sashings on the blocks.......today I got the sashings done between the rows and got all the rows sewn together...tomorrow the borders go on....YIPPEE!

Hmmm, who is this quilter? She sure had FUN!

Love all the Jo fabrics! Then I saw you are using a black fabric by Jo that I can't seem to find anywhere! UGH! It's a beauty..they all are.

Wahoo - look at all your wonderful, wonderful projects. The black worked out perfectly for Moose on the Loose!

Baby quilt is adorable but your Mom's quilt is going to be beautiful.

Keep sewing like the wind. ;-)

Aren't retreats the greatest?! My next one isn't until October and I'm teaching. But it will still be fun.

How are Howie and Zack? Haven't heard about or seen them in a while.

I'm glad you had a nice time and got so much done :) How nice to get away for a retreat! I start out with good intentions in the morning, but those distractions you mentioned sometimes get in the way :)

Carol,
Your Moose on the loose looks great but I really love the softness of colors in your baby quilt. I'll be back to see what you selected for quilting that one. Beautiful quilts all.
