Scrap-Basket Sensations Blog Tour
Day Ten
***
Today is my day...this has been a lot of fun...I was very excited when Kim e-mailed me and asked me if I would like to participate in the Blog Tour...I jumped at the chance. Unfortunately I was away for part of the tour and didn't get a chance to start a project from the book...but that sure didn't stop me from picking out the projects I want to do...no your eyes aren't playing tricks on you...yes I have sticky notes on 6 quilts...and those are just the ones I want to do really soon. Kim did an amazing job with this book...great quilts, and outstanding instructions...as I read through the book, picking out my must do's I read instructions...I found them to be very clear, concise, not to wordy, just right.
First on my list is Summer Daze...it's my favorite...Picnic will be next...I'm seeing lots of fabrics that will work great for this one...it's such a happy quilt. You know how I love the dark colors so Lake Cabin and Blessings from the Hollow are just waiting for me. I'd like a new red, white and blue quilt...so Blues Crossing will be it and Sparkler is the perfect 2 color quilt.

This book is available from your local quilt shop, Martingale, Amazon, or your favorite online shop. You aren't going to want to miss this one. Thanks so much Kim.

Make sure to leave me a comment on this post and I'll pick a winner on Monday...the winner will receive a copy of the book sent from Kim...you're going to love it!

P.S. I have no idea why Blogger has all these crazy spaces between everything in this post...I'm so sorry :(

Thanks for the chance to win Kim's book. I have really enjoyed this tour!

Not one single quilt pictured throughout the entire blog hop has been one I didn't think OOOh pretty. I'm sure if I win this book mine will have just as many sticky notes inside as yours. What a wonderful book which I will be buying if I'm not lucky enough to win one that's autographed.

Thanks for your part in the hop. Have a great weekend.

Maybe we should just all start on page one and work our way to the end--no I got it--half of us will start at the first pattern and the other half will start at the last pattern and we will work our way to the middle and meet!!!!

What a wonderful way to use up scraps from my stash. Each and everyone of Kim's quilts has a charm all it's own. No wonder it is hard to choose which to do first. I think I would just begin with the first one and continue until they were all done.

Here's to hoping I can win a copy. My daughter and I could finally use up some of those jelly rolls we have tucked away in the back of the cupboard. I have no idea which would be first...fabric requirement and what's around here that needs to go would determine that. I am trying a little fabric restraint around here.
