Several people asked me for cutting instructions for the baby quilt from yesterday's post...so here you go...
Cut 322- 5" X 2-1/2" 30's rectangles
Cut 322- 5" X 1-1/2" white rectangles
There are 14 rows in mine...23 white and 23 30's prints in each row.
When you sew the rows together make sure that you flip the rows each time so that the first one starts with a white, the next a 30's, the next a white and so on...this was you get the offsetting. That's it..have tons of fun!
Just figure out how big you want it. ENJOY!
Hope everyone had a Very HAPPY EASTER!

Thanks for posting how you cut the quilt! I really like the quilt!
Thanks for the info. I was figuring in my head about what it might be, so you made my figuring a lot easier!
Happy Easter to you too.
Happy Easter Carol!!
Wow, only 644 rectangles. I suppose if I cut them from scraps of light and dark while I am cutting other projects, I could have a real scrappy quilt in no time! Thanks for the directions...
Thank you bunches, Carol. I think it would be fun to make. :-)
Your quilt is adorable and thanks for the instructions. I may have to add this one to the list for someday.
Thanks for the cutting instructions Carol. So easy and so cute, lots of cutting but so worth it. This quilt is perfect for 30's fabrics. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter.

Hi there, just found your blog, love what I see and have become a "FOLLOWER"
I'm a retired teacher of 4th graders and now in the second half of a great life with grandkids and sewing in my world.
Look forward to visiting your blog often.
Take care.
What a great way to use up scraps! Love it, and have written down the easy instructions.
That's a super cute quilt done in 30's, I wonder how it would look in another fabric line.
