The binding is done, the label is on...Stargazer is ready to be delivered to Hospice of the Comforter...the event is November 5th...yippee done in plenty of time. I was very happy with the top when I finished it...I was thrilled beyond words when it came back from the quilter...got the binding on it and I loved it. As Mr. Quilt Holder was holding it up for me to take a picture...
I told him I almost felt guilty...I'd keep this quilt in a minute. I LOVE it! But then I had a big talk with myself...this quilt was made for one purpose and one purpose only...a donation to Hospice of the Comforter...I'm back on track again...it's all ready to be delivered. It was a great pattern to work with...thank you so much Kelly!

How beautiful! I'm just finishing a quilt that actually has no planned purpose, and I was thinking of donating it to Hospice. Perhaps this is my sign that that's what I should do with it.
Oh, it would be so hard to give that beautiful quilt up ... but good for you to remind yourself why you made it. You could always make another one for yourself. ;-)
ooh, tough one to give away. It is beautiful. But, it's a wonderful cause, and someone will really love it.
Just beautiful, your quilt will make someone very happy. Think of all the smiles it will give someone.
That is a real beauty, all right.
It turned out just perfect!
Beautiful quilt. Beautiful pattern. Beautiful gesture to gift it to such a good cause. You are just truly a beautiful person, Carol.
Just beautiful--kudos to you for being strong and giving it up to give someone else joy!
I'm loving it, too! I think you just might have to make yourself one! I'm already contemplating my color scheme when I make one.....thanks for the inspiration! And I just know you are making someone really happy, especially when they are needing some comfort so badly! Giant pat on the back! :o)
Wow that is a beauty, and yipee for you for donating it!
It's beautiful Carol. And what a wonderful gift for someone who needs it. I'm sure it will be very appreciated.
So beautiful - and so good of you to give it to a worthy cause, hon!
That is a beautiful quilt and it will make someone very happy.
A gourgeous quilt! I would think about keeping this too :o)
But it will be loved wherever it goes ;o)
Wish you a great weekend,
Laila
What a wonderful quilt and what you are doing with it is just as wonderful!!
Oh Carol, I love this quilt right along with you & everyone else. I sometimes think its the quilts we love the most that are the most valuable gifts. So much love behind it and all. You're such a light!!!
Oh I don't blame you for wanting to keep it - it's beautiful. What a thoughtful and wonderful thing to do with the quilt.
Hugs - Karen
Oh- love it!!! Great pattern! It would be worth doing twice! I would make one for keeping too!
It is a lovely pattern and you did a fantastic job with the color layout. That perky red is just the thing. I know giving it up is hard, but oh the joy it will bring.
A beautiful quilt and a generous donation!
How generous of you! It's a beauty! I can see how it would be hard to give up, but I'm sure your gift will give someone such comfort!
What a beautiful quilt- I'm sure it's hard to part with!
Oh Carol, it's beautiful! You did such a wonderful job - I'd have a hard time parting with it too :) :) You're such a sweet heart to give it to charity! Mkay - I'm drooling here over those Kiss n Pretzel Treats with the M & M's! And, yes, I was singing right along with you as soon as a read your title!! Hope you have a wonderful time Carol! You deserve it :)
A lovely quilt and a wonderful thing to do with it. It's going to provide great comfort for someone.
If you like the quilt, and want to keep it, then you know that whomever gets it, will like it too. You'll just have to make one for yourself now (and another one for me, too ; ). It is a lovely quilt.
Hi! Greets from Finland! I love the quilt! It's wonderful! It's so nice to find other quilters from the other side of the world! :)
