- After teaching for 24 years and then fulfilling my dream of having a quilt shop, I retired the end of August 2007. Having the shop for almost 8 years was wonderful...I had a great time, met lots of people that I am happy to call friends, but the time came to retire. Andy retired in April, so the time was right. I'm loving spending time with him and getting to go see my 2 grandsons, granddaughter, son and daughter-in-law whenever I want. And I get to SEW!

Fun! I ordered myself one for my birthday gift to myself, I had to order it from Apple since I couldn't find any in the stores. I think the Facetime thing is pretty cool.

Woohoo they are fun you will love it. To get pictures from iPad to blogger post first put them on a photo sharing site like Flickr. Then you get them onto your blog. Did today (Easter) post completely on iPad except picture was taken from iPhone.

You will find that you don't use your computer very much if you have an iPad. I love mine and FaceTime is wonderful for staying connected. Congrats!

I had to download BLOGPRESS an app to get my pictures to upload. The $4.99 was well worth it. Another leaning curve using blogpress.
Load the blogger app...it is free and pretty easy. Enjoy!
