Dancin', Dancin', Dancin'

Yes I am...I am Dancin'...my March list is FINISHED...I have pretty purple lines through every entry.

I couldn't be more excited...so a big huge THANK YOU to Yvette for helping me get my act together...I feel so much better...I was focused this month...no flitting from one thing to another...I had my projects lined up and went right down the line.  Now we'll see what April brings...I have my recurring list of monthly projects and BOM's poised and ready to go and tucked right underneath it is my list of things I'd like to get done this month...

Here's what I got done that I haven't already shown...binding on my Cotton Club...the weather still wasn't wonderful so the color isn't the best...but I had Mr. Quilt Holder available...
Got the binding on my Simply Charming quilt and hung it in my sewing room...
I already showed this section of Wiggle & Whimsy but a sweet commenter let me know that I hadn't quite done what I was supposed to...I sewed the 2 sections together without the white strip...I'm so happy she let me know...shame on me, all those years I had my quilt shop and taught classes I always said "read all the directions first before you start"...hmmm, lesson learned...after taking the 2 sections apart I found it in the directions, pretty close to the end...sure won't make that mistake again...well on this project anyway...
Finished my Spools flimsy..I'm anxious to get this one quilted...can't wait to have these Sew Mama Said spools in my sewing room.
Just have to share these pics of Howie...this past week we had record low temps...even had thick frost one morning.  Howie managed to follow the sun around the house...by the front door...
in the dining room...he was a happy dog.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend...Happy Easter!

You got a lot done. I've been making a list since the New Year and it has helped me finish a lot of projects. I hope you have a Happy Easter. Hugs

Everything looks great! I know a couple of ladies left out the strips on the wiggly whimsy on purpose.

Woo Hoo!!!! You did a great job!
I did pretty well on my list too but I just had too many things on it. I am revamping it for April.

LOVE your spool quilt! Love your Cotton Club too. I have that one in my living room right now. It's TJ's favorite quilt to sleep on. Ugh!

I am so impressed I am a list maker too but tend to go off the list sometimes, getting better about it ...
funny how they follow the sun isn't it?

Good for you on those great finishes! Love the Cotton Club, of course. The spool quilt is wonderful, great setting! Your little Tara quilt is darling. I can't find my book anywhere, so haven't joined in on that. They are all so cute! And now I need to read directions as well? Ha!

Maybe I should take your lead and make a list. I'm afraid I'd deviate from it. LOL. Your accomplishments are great, Carol. Loving the Howie pics most. My heart needed to see your precious Howie. Thank you.

Well done Carol! You are a great example of what can happen when we set goals and stick to them. Even when we set challenge goals that we don't know whether or not we can reach. Congratulations to you!

Great job Carol....yes, I am doing a big old happy dance for you too. Now I'm thinking I need to start this list thing....I have been so unproductive!!!!! Sweet pictures of Howie. It just makes you feel warm to see them.

Well. Good for you. Aren't you just Miss Annoying-pants?

Color me pea-green with envy. Make that dark pea-green. List? I never even got around to making a list! :)

The quilts and finishes are terrific - dance away! You've earned it. Hugs to you, the DH and Howie. (And a couple of scratches and treats for the two men in your life... if the DH is into that sort of thing.)

Good for you, girlfriend! You did an amazing job at staying focused and completing so much in March. I will try to take a page out of your book and set to getting some more UFO's and flimsies in my done column :-)

You've gotten heaps done ... ah the power of a list. I love them, and I'm working my way down mine ... though somehow a few other projects crept in there as well (it has not time frame). Did you find that? Or were you strict with your list?

Wow ...I'm envious of that list. Beautiful work.

Hi Carol!!! You were in my thoughts this morning so I thought while I was checking my email this morning I just stop by and say hello. Love how your sweet Howie follows the sun, LOL. I used to have a little Corgie mix that did that, in fact when I made my bed each day, if it was sunny, I would fling open the blinds so that the morning sun would flood the room, including the bed...then I would shout "Sunshine on the Bed" and no matter where she was or what she was doing, she would come on the run and sit up in front of the bed waiting to be lifted into the sunshine. (having those short little Corgie legs, she couldn't jump up, plus she had a bad back from abuse she suffered before we got her. Once she was on the bed, she would follow the morning sun until it was completely gone, then bark to let us know she wanted down, LOL. I think of her every time the sun shines through my bedroom window. Sweet babies, they leave us with such joyful memories. Have a wonderful day sweet friend, I'm spending most of it in bed, trying to win my fourth battle with Shingles...Doc says because of my compromised immune system this mean virus continues to flare up. BUT....this too shall pass and I hope it's fast, I have lots of sewing to do. Big Hugs and Happy sewing...
