It's a Rainy Wednesday

not exactly the way the song goes...but you get the idea...
These heavy dark clouds came in this morning
...along with some thunder and lightning...then the rain started...
I'm doing what I love to do in this situation...heading upstairs to begin on a project from my list.  Here's what I decided on today...this wonderful quilt
from the (yes, you're seeing it correctly)  Fall/Winter 2009 edition of the Quilt Sampler...I've also had the kit since that time.  Today I'm going to start on the center section of snowballs...if you need me, you know where to find me!

 Have an awesome Wednesday!

I love to hunker down and sew on stormy days (as long as the power stays on).
Great looking "new" project. I've always wanted to make a snowball quilt. I'll do this with you in my mind. : )

Oh my you're having my kind of sewing day. You're going to make the storm a little worse because you'll be sewing like the wind!

Have terrific day! I'll holler if I need you. LOL

Today is a sewing Wednesday for me too (except no rain so far). 2009 was just like yesterday so your kit is not that old. I'm sure I have a few from then too :)

I won't holler but wanted you to know I was thinking of you.

Please send the rain our way. Hard to understand why you would have a rainy day and we have just a cloudy day....and we don't live very far apart.

I wonder if I have the same kit as you. Or maybe I just saved the instructions. Can't remember.

I have this magazine and so want to make that quilt! But I didn't get a kit before they sold out...boo hoo. Have fun piecing yours together, its wonderful! I visited Temecula Quilt Co. during my travels and was able to see the original quilt. Loved the shop and owner, she is such a sweet person and loves her work. Happy sewing!

Oh good for you! Can't wait to see your progress on this one! I spent the day comfy on the couch hand stitching another applique block from my must finish list. Felt good :-)

Rainy day? I want one. In fact, I'll take several please. :) Stormy days and stitching just go together. I'm looking forward to peeking at your fun new project. You will let us peek, won't you?
