I love the Brown Truck

I just love the big Brown truck...I love when it comes to the shop and brings us new wonderful fabrics, books and patterns...and I love when it comes to my house. I was upstairs sewing yesterday and looked up, out the shutters, and I saw him coming into our village.

Here you can see what I got to see...I took this picture this morning so there wasn't a truck but there sure was yesterday...YIPPEE!

The next thing I knew he was ringing my doorbell and the dogs were going nuts. He brought me a goodie box.

This is Celebrate Spring by Sandy Gervais and MODA. We didn't get this group in the shop and then I saw so many wonderful things done with it on several blogs and fell in love with it. I had to have it. I decided to do a happy quilt for the guest room bed. (Katie will be so excited when they come down again. She'll love this quilt.) Well the fabric has been out for a while so I had to look hard. I found jelly rolls and charm squares so I quickly decided what I wanted to do and hit the BUY button. Of course I needed backing and binding...it needed to match :)
I LOVE IT! It's not like I don't have anything else to do, but I want to get going on this project. It will make me HAPPY!

Gotta love 'Brown'. LOL I can't wait to see what you do with Celebrate Spring. You already know it's a definite favorite of mine. I still have two Jelly Rolls waiting for 'the' project.

BTW, I have to tell you that I absolutely love all the fabric you used in your Spa Day Leap Frog quilt!!!!

Living in the middle on no where, my kids loved watching for the "UPS" man. They stayed confused...My Mom amd MIL sent gifts--but they swore the UPS man brought those gifts!!!! "Mom , this is my new dress-- The UPS man brought it to me!!!" Funny memories-- Love the fabric...

Oh, that's such pretty fabric! You can't get everything in your shop, but it must be really hard picking just which ones will come in and which won't.

I love big Brown, too. My dog takes great offence when big Brown, or even big White drives by on our street. Don't know why, he just barks up a storm. Maybe because they bring treats for me and not him! Nice fabrics, be sure to show us the finished quilt.

That's the worst thing about being on a fabric diet - I miss the wonderful packages both the brown truck and the PO truck bring to my door. Shopping online is the next best thing to living close to one's favorite quilt shop!
