Great Visit to the Doctor

This morning was Andy's post-op check up. We both felt like he was doing great, so for me going to the doctor was just to confirm what I already thought. The nurse came in first and took out the stitches and she was very pleased with the way they were healing. When the doctor came in he asked Andy to raise his arm as high as he could...well he raised it up over his head. The doctor nearly flipped. He was grinning from ear to ear. He told Andy that no one has that kind of movement so quickly. He also told him that normally he would perscribe physical therapy...not for my man...he said there was no need for him to do that. He said, "Just keep doing what you're doing." He can't start doing his regular exercising yet...has to wait 3 more weeks, but we're just fine with that. So we've come to the end of this chapter...it was a quick one...and ended perfectly...we are doing the dance.

Good to hear that Andy is doing so well postop. Sounds like he is a motivated patient if he doesn't have to go through therapy.

On the previous post, what a wonderful picture of your little Hampton. Moving to Alabama soon? Getting closer but not quite home yet!
