Stash Report- Week 8, Loser Monday (really Sunday)and Fun Sewing

I'll start with my Stash Busting effort for this week...I cut our new Little Miss' quilt this week...look at that Swanky fabric...happy, happy fabric ...so it's cut and counted...I didn't count the back and binding yet...I'll count that later.Fabric Added this Week: 0 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date: 10.75 yards

Fabric Used this Week: 6 yards
Fabric Used Year to Date: 49.25yards

Total Busted: 38.5 yards

I'm pretty happy with my weight loss...I've really changed how I eat and it's working...since we started I've lost 5 pounds...I didn't post last week...so I'm catching up...I don't have a clue where the time goes.

I had a very fun time this week...I went to my friend Jeanne's for a quilter's sleepover and we sewed and laughed...we had decided that we were going to do a FUN project...Miss Rosie's Tuffet's... OMG if you haven't made some of these, you must give them a try...you don't bust much stash...but you can start and finish all in the same day...no UFO's...we sure had fun making these Carrie....Thanks so much.

I won a drawing over at Nan's blog and I got the most wonderful package in the mail...look at all those patterns, awesome charm packs and the cutest Mary E journal...thanks Nan...that was wonderful, wonderful mail. I've been sewing...I've been getting some BOM's caught up, I did 5 more pillowcases for my friend Jami, and some 3" star blocks for Judie's Tribute by Carol Hopkins/Civil War Legacy pattern...these are just so darn cute...I love doing them...but not much stash busting there either...LOL!

OH! I almost forgot...a low calorie dessert recipe from Jeanne...she made this for us and I'm telling you it is YUMMY!

Lemon Fluff Pie
Small box Sugar Free Lemon Jello
6 oz. container fat free lemon yogurt
8 oz. light Cool Whip
10" graham cracker crust

In a large bowl dissolve lemon jello in 1 cup hot water (she heated it in the microwave)...after it is dissolved add 1/2 cup cool water. Refrigerate for 40 minutes (no more-no less)
Fold in yogurt and Cool Whip. Pour in crust and refrigerate overnight.

Trust me...it is delish!

Pie sounds like it might be good. Your little stars are adorable, but way smaller than anything I ever want to stitch. You are doing a great stashbusting job! Congratulations on the weight, too.

Yay! Five pounds! yay! Good for you. Oh...I think there's a typo in your recipe. I think that second box of lemon jello is supposed to be lemon yogurt? Sounds delish!

What is a tuffet? Are they meant to be pincushions? Your quilter's weekend surely must have been fun and with a low calorie dessert that sounds luscious!

Oh those tuffets are soooo cute!! And those little stars too I love them! My goodness you've been very, very busy in the sewing room :) I am looking forward to seeing little miss's quilt top! I haven't had lemon fluff but at Thanksgiving (year before last) I made pumpkin fluff and we all liked it better than the pie!!! Yum!!

Never mind the "stash busting", you made up for the lack of progress there with the "fun busting" and the health progress! Good for you and congratulations on that! I love those little 3" stars! They're fabulous! And your little Tuffets are SO cute! Glad you had fun. :)
