We just saw the Space Shuttle go up from our front porch...I think it was the prettiest one we've ever seen...wishing them a very safe journey!
Here's my report for this week...as I wrote yesterday I'm working on a baby quilt from a kit that I had on my shelf for a year...was hoping to get it done today, but we did some yard work that took way more time than I thought...isn't that always the way?!

I am glad you posted about the Space Shuttle going up. We have friends on there way to Tampa. I hope they saw it go up, because they are from MN and would not see one there. I was in Bradenton one year during a launch, it was a wonderful site.

I'm sitting here looking at your report completely blown away at yardage used! OMG you must have kept the store! (only teasing) Also I think it is darned cool that you can watch a space shuttle from your house!

We watched the launch from the back yard. It was a pretty one though I would have liked it just a bit darker. I love the way it lights up everything at night.

I would love to see the shuttle launch someday. I grew up where I could see missile launches from Vandenberg - there is that distinctive rumble that let you know to get outside so you can see something quite unique.

Oh how exciting Carol -- I'd LOVE to see a space shuttle launch! Peep Junie's daughter was in FL last week and was all geared up to see the launch, but they kept putting it off, so she missed it boohoo!

Anyway, I am also in FL visitng my family. It is too hot here for me (nothing like So Cal)!
I also have a tumbler quilt that I started last year when I was on a quilt retreat. If I remember correctly, I have 4 rows sewn together......Mine is made out of American Jane fabric (I think).

Someone else posted pictures of the space shuttle taking off near her home. Last night we could see the space station flying by. Cool!
