Yes, that's me...a Cover Girl...but as usual I'm a bit behind...I had every intention of posting my picture of the Ashcombe quilt that I sewed for Carrie of Miss Rosie fame, but I was in Birmingham visiting Hampton and Camden and I couldn't get on their network...both Josh and Katie tried and tried but we just couldn't get it. They have recently switched over to U Verse and for some reason it just wouldn't let my little computer in. I could have done my post on Josh's computer, but there wouldn't have been a picture...and that just wouldn't have been any fun...OK, I'll stop blabbering and show you the picture. I had an absolute blast doing this quilt for Carrie...Carrie is such a clever girl...this pattern gives the directions to do the quilt with a layer cake like Darlene's and with Honey Buns like mine. As always, Carrie's directions were wonderful...you are going to love this pattern!
I spent some time in my storage room today going through yardage and fat quarters...I'll be back tomorrow with some "destashing" (that's Darlene's blog title and I loved it...thanks Darlene!)

That is an awesome quilt!!!
I like the quilt very much. An interesting version of using rail fence blocks. So now you are Darlene are Cover Girls. What's next?
Totally awesome, Carol. I had read somewhere that you were a contributor to Carrie's quilts.
Looks so great! You girls are quilting stars :-)
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous quilt...I can't wait for this pattern to come out!
Just lovely! I'm very interesting about Carrie's new book. Your quilts are gorgeous as hers. :-)
WooHoo - there you are!
We are awesome Cover Girls! LOL
I think Kelly used De-Stashing before I did. It's a perfect word. I have lots more to do.
Gorgeous work Carol and the perfect choice for cover girls!
Okay now THAT is a cool quilt. Looking forward to some snaps of Hampton and Camden, too.
Never too late to share a great quilt and I think a pat on the back for a job well done is in order. How nice to be asked to do this for Carrie, but also a good deal for Carrie to have quilters who are willing to do this for her!
That is so lovely - what a great Cover Girl you are!!!
Great quilt Carol. You did a great job.
It's lovely, and isn't it interesting how different 2 quilts look, even when they started from the same point?
terrific and I too love seeing the same quilt in different colorways!
How fun for you and Darlene to work together on this little project! I think they are awesome quilts! BTW...how was the kiddos?!!
It looks awesome, I love Carrie's patterns. The cover girls are wonderful.
Congratulations Carol! Your Ashcombe quilt is fabulous! Isn't it fun to be a cover girl? Hope you had a good visit with the family.
