We did our exercise walk really early this morning because they were calling for extreme heat today...with heat advisory...no rain today to cool it off at all, so we headed out before it got too bad...then I was IN for the day! I headed right upstairs and sewed and sewed and sewed. I worked on my Plan C, but I just have pieces and parts at this point so no pictures yet...I did a bunch of 9 patches for the Nine Patch Swap and did some 4 patches for a swap with a friend. Definitely, MY KIND OF DAY!

Your day started perfectly with Hampton on the phone and then continued with lots and lots of sewing. woohoo!!!
I know what you mean...we had an excessive heat warning again today. But I got to spend the entire day at a quilt seminar with Harriet Hagrave, it was money well spent! One more day and then comes lots of practicing! Glad you had a fun, rewarding day...hope you get many more!

ah yes I am walking as early as I can its been so hot here this summer
finally a few days in the 80s sounds like heaven!
but in reality give me the 60's and I am thrilled
after this summer I am saying bring on the snow!

I know you had a wonderful day playing in the sewing room. Our great-grandaughter came to visit for a short while yesterday. She is six and I haven't seen her since she was four. What a change in two years.
I surely hope you can get up to see the grand darlin's very soon. The boys look comfy and cool. I know Dolly wishes she could join them!
