Now My Machine is Telling Me What To Do...

And here's the proof...when I sat down at my machine today, this is what I saw...
hasn't she gotten a little bossy since she spent her time at the spa while we were away.
OK, I confess, it was really me...when I finished my Bounce top yesterday I was playing "beat the sunset" so I could get the picture taken outside before the sun went completely away....so I didn't want to take the time to get the lint out and change the needle...so I left myself a note.  I decided that since she's all nice and clean that I'm going to be really, really good and give her a nice clean out after each project.  Guess I better hang on to my reminder!

Can I borrow it to put on my machine?

I just finished piecing a quilt top together and am hand quilting it now. I need to make myself a note so I remember to go give my machine a good cleaning so it will be ready to go when it's time to start the next quilt top. ;-)

LOL I like the note writing machine! ;-) I clean often to keep my baby running smoothly too. Have a happy weekend!

I think mine will need a good clean once I've finished the current project; I can see the fluff gathering around the needle as we speak...

One of the best hints I ever received: after each project change your needle, get the lint out, a little drop of oil, and you're ready to roll on the next project. Keeps the machine in better shape.

My machine doesn't talk to me, she just shuts down when she's tired and dirty. Your way might be better! She'll be so happy when whe's all cleaned up!

I used to be SO good about cleaning my machine . . . now I'm surprised it doesn't hack and cough from all the lint that must be accumulated. Time to follow your lead *s*

My machine is in for its yearly cleaning right now. It's amazing how quickly the lint builds up inside.

I clean out the bobbin case area everytime I put in a new bobbin. It was recommended by the manufacturer. It does make a difference.
