My Heart Melted...

I opened an e-mail from Katie this morning and this is what I found...oh my goodness...my heart melted and the tears flowed. We haven't seen them since the end of August and they have grown up. I talked to Hampton this morning on the phone and told him that I had gotten the new pictures. I said "You've grown so much since I saw you that last time...you promised me you wouldn't grow until I saw you again." He laughed and said that he'd try not to grow any more. I think it's going to be a long time until Thanksgiving.

Oh my, Carol. Goodness. I'm already crying from another post and now this. What a treasure. I have goose bumps from looking at them. Golly, how will we wait for Thanksgiving?

Someone should have warned me Blogging was going to be so emotional this afternoon.

Warmly and with much Love, *karendianne.

Aren't grandkids the best thing that ever graced this earth?? I feel so lucky to live so close to mine and get to see them so often. Thanksgiving is coming fast! You'll see them soon.

Cute little stinkers and boy they have grown! Can't you sneak in a real quick unexpected trip? :-) We all know Thanksgiving will be here before we know it...but when we are waiting from something like this...time seems to drag by.

Carol, I know how you feel. I became became a grama for the first time this year; twice over. Both my grandsons live 11+ hours away. I tell their mom's that some days will last forever but, the years will fly by. I feel like I am missing out on so much, but their parents are great to keep me in the loop.

Don't worry, Carol! The camera adds two inches, lol, those babies didn't really grow that much! Sigh, I know, kids grow and time passes at warp speed, except when we are waiting for the next visit with family to come along. Soon, they will be filling your house with love and playing noises very soon.

We used to use the term "put a brick on your head" as though that would keep the little ones from growing. Turkey time will get here and you will get to love on them a whole bunch.

They are so precious!! Hampton is looking like a little man :) Maybe you should make Halloween an official visiting holiday also? Yup I think that's the answer. Oh and Columbus Day and Arbor Day etc...

Can they get any cuter!!! What a fun thing to find on your computer. My sister is becoming a first time grandmother this January and her daughter and husband just bought a home not even a mile away from her. Can she get any luckier?
Take care,
Cathy
