Fall in Windermere, FL

We were chatting with McCuddly's brother up in Central Pennsylvania last evening.  He mentioned that the leaves were absolutely beautiful, but any day now they'd be falling off the trees and he'd have bags and bags and bags of leaves to rake.  We told him that he wasn't alone and that we had leaves falling already...our oak trees
are starting to drop and the magnolia trees have big leaves that need to be cleaned up

...hmmm, do you think he has as many leaves as we have?

Hope I brought you a little chuckle today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a picture of Hampton's Big Brother quilt...I couldn't get a good picture today because the wind was blowing and flipping the quilt all over.

Have a great evening!

Wow - yeah, that's a lot of leaves. LOL! I love when all our leaves start falling and our lawn turns to gold. BUt then they have to be raked up, and I don't like that quite as much. I guess you wouldn't know about that.

Oh, but I lived in TX for a short while and although i did love the 'winter' weather I missed the colours of fall! The leaves just fell of and never changed colours! I guess I am stuck here in the icy IL till I get tired of the fall colours!

Our Florida live oak is dropping acorns right now. Lots and lots and lots of acorns. Or maybe the squirrels are throwing them down at us. It's hard to tell which.

I'm in Northwestern Pennsylvania, and we have had the most beautiful fall this year! Unfortunately, the rain started yesterday; and we are losing the leaves on the trees. It happens!

Wanted to thank you for sending us that rain, girlfriend!! Oh did we ever need it...and I loved it! :) The colors are really turning pretty here; however, the wind and rain brought quite a lot of leaves down with it. The trees in my yard are still 'twigs' LOL so I don't have to worry about raking yet... :D

You have my sympathy. Here in San Diego we are overwhelmed by our falling leaves just as you are. :)

I don't know Carol...you might have to order a dump truck and a crew of 12 men to clean up and haul away all those leaves!!! LOLOL Of course, here in Northern Utah, we just vacuum them up with our lawn mower or rake em and bag em...we have it easy. *wink*

*note...You are such a tease!!! Big Hugs

Sure hope McCuddly didn't hurt himself raking your yard!
