The Baby Quilt is Ready

The quilt is ready...now we just have to get little Miss Kara Lyn home...as with most newborns she lost some weight the first few days, but at 3 pounds 5 ounces she really didn't have much to lose...but we heard from her daddy that she's starting to gain some weight. We couldn't be more excited...so Kara Lyn your quilt is ready for you to come home.
This was a very fun quilt to do...thank you Doe for sharing the pattern with me.

Thanks for stopping by...I am going to try to be a better blogger and not let so much time go by between blogs. See you soon!

Is this a pattern in a book/magazine????
Love this quilt. Something to do with the time of year but I am looking forward to working with 30's again...had enough of the darker colors for a few weeks at least :)
great job on this quilt Carol!

What a stunning quilt....I'm sure the little one will love it. It is a fun pattern - I used the same pattern to make a double bed quilt for my daughter and it's stunning. Even DD1 agrees...lol.

That quilt is fabulous! It looks like one of those tessellating things that I vowed never to do again, but this has me tempted.

What a wonderful baby quilt . . . I love it when they are big enough for the baby to 'grow into' and can be used for a long, long time *s*

What a happy quilt and looks like something Kara Lyn will enjoy for many years to come. Now you should take a picture of you holding her and use that on the back of the quilt as part of your label.
