Andy had a business trip to Providence, Rhode Island yesterday so I decided that I was going to work on the donation quilt for the Country Loft show...as the morning got going I made another decision...I set a goal...The quilt top was going to be done by the time my man came through the door from the airport. Well, I reached the goal and I did the dance. I couldn't be happier.
This was a great pattern...High Cotton by Miss Rosie...the directions were perfect and the fabric is so pretty...all I had to do was follow the pattern.
It was a very happy day!

Lovely! Did you use a kit or a fat bundle?
A happy day, and a beautiful quilt.
Beautiful fabrics! Love the quilt. Great finish :o)
Aren't those kinds of days great! I'm glad you've met your goal and are dancing!
Looks great . . . I can just see it out there in that cute little yard at Country Loft on display *s*
That is so cute - tell us more. What fabric?
I'm thinking that you should abandon the whole idea of sending it to the Country Loft and just send it to me. OK?????? LOL
Oh Carol that came out sooo gorgeous!!! I love Miss Rosie's patterns--they are always so clear and she doesn't ever leave you wondering what next! Good job hitting your goal :)
What a wonderful donation! Love the quilt and glad to hear it went together so easily! It's on my super long "to do" list.
Ohhh this is FANTASTIC!
Very, very pretty!
Great job on the quilt. It's fantastic, I'd have a hard time giving it away.
It's beautiful Carol! I've always loved that block pattern!
oh, my, that is one gorgeous quilt! I LOVE the colors.
I use the goal method often when I am sewing and it spurs me on. Good finish on the quilt top and so nice that you are donating it to a good cause. Wish I could go to the Country Loft show! I'll just have to visit through the pictures on their website.
Very pretty quilt and I know your Happy your DH is home too :O)...
Wonderful - and a well deserved happy dance!
How beautiful is that quilt!?! You did a wonderful job, Carol, and you finished it when you wanted - congrats to you on both counts! Happy, happy, joy, joy!!
OMG that quilt is beautiful. They are gonna love it. Is it quilted yet Carol? If not I'll donate my time and do it for you. Let me know. And whats this FLORA and FAUNA at your house too???
It's lovely! How sweet of Sharon to quilt it for the charitable cause! Thanks for sharing!
