The Finishing Dance...that's what I'm doing...my Simply Sophistcated BOM came in the mail yesterday from Fat Quarter Shop and I did it today...all done for this month...YIPPEE!! This was a fun and very easy set to do...no extra nine patches. And my first book finish for 2009...I started it in 2008 and finished it last night...a very, very good book...very sad, very touching and extremely gripping. Nicole recommended this one a while ago, and she was soooooo right...it's a very good read. Thanks Nicole...I'll be waiting for another recommendation.

Great blocks Carol and I wish I liked to read. I'm sure that book is a good one.
Love the blocks! They are such pretty fabrics.
The blocks are gorgeous...yay for you getting them done so soon!!! I'm loving the BOM I'm doing from them...it's great to have it in the mail each month!
Good For You!!! I need to get to work. Have you read the Edgar Sawtelle book? Being a dog lover you might like it!
Your blocks are so pretty!! I wish I could quilt!! I am going to make that a goal this year to work on that skill!! I am going to look for that book!!
I would highly recommend Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin. It's about a woman forensic doctor in the Middle Ages. It's a murder mystery and very well written.
Will you perform the dance for me next time I see you?
The blocks are great!!! I'll get the blog up about the Simply Sophisticated drawing on Sunday night! I haven't gotten my blocks yet in the mail. Maybe today!
How pretty - you know I love to see quilts! I just might settle in with a good book this afternoon!
Wow you get a BOM in the mail and finish it the next day...way to go!! I get them in the mail and put them in their tub still in the envelope lol!! I can't wait to read Heretic's Daughter!
Yes love getting the BOM on the done list, and that does look like a good book. I just finished The Christmas Sweater, also a good book.
Nice work on finished your BOM, it's very pretty. I'll have to check out the book.
I would definitely like to read that book - I've heard it's wonderful.
