Look at the Moon!
We headed out the door this morning at about 6:45 to walk the dogs...and this incredible moon was in the sky. It was huge, bright, reflecting on the pond behind our house and seemed to be falling out of the sky really fast. I made Andy wait with the dogs and I ran in the house to get the camera...the boys were not thrilled with my taking this photo op...I couldn't help myself. I took the pictures, took the camera back in the house and we started up the street...only about 5 minutes had passed and the moon was almost gone...it was truly amazing.

With Days to Spare!
I doing the dance...for the first time I'm not skidding in under the wire, not moments from late...I have 3 days to spare...My Charming Girls and Guys Club Goals have been met for March and I got my March Schnibble done...YIPPEE!
Got Camden's Birthday quilt done and quilted...I just need to get the binding on. I'm so pleased with this quilt...the pattern was great fun and the fabric is just HAPPY!
The March Schnibble is finished...Roundabout out of Make Life fabric...this was a really fun one to do...went together really nicely.
I got the blocks done of the Country Loft BOM...didn't get a picture taken of them...the camera battery died. :-(
The Civil War Tribute blocks are done...2- 18" blocks and 2- 12" blocks...I really liking these blocks.
And I got the 4 quilt tops done for Mountain Baby Blankets....the pile is ready to pack up and send off to Dawn...top, backing and binding...and all done from stash. I'm a very happy girl.
So all my goals were met...now I have to think about April. Can it really be time to think about April already?

Jelly Roll and a Little Spring
Spring has sprung for sure...everything here is popping out. The azaleas are prettier this year than I've seen them. I don't know if it's because we had such a cold, wet winter, but that's the only thing that's been really different. I complained when it was so icky all winter but I'm sure loving the flowers now.
My roses are blooming also...I don't think I've ever had roses this early...
I finished my Jelly Roll Sampler block the other day, and just didn't get to the computer to post it...I'm really having fun doing these blocks...I think this will be a charity quilt...
My plan is to be back here tomorrow to post my Charming Girl goals for March...I'm going to try to be a little early this month.

A Helpful Hint and some Randomness...
Hope everyone had a wonderful first day of spring and a great National Quilting Day. Today was the most spectacular day we've had. The sun was out all day, not a cloud in the beautiful blue sky, just about perfect. We had all the windows open in the house today...listening to the birds chirping in the trees.
Here's a little hint I learned from the gals I went on retreat with back in January...I thought I had shared this when I got back and then I was looking at some old posts and realized I hadn't done it. This is just a piece of that rubbery shelf liner...cut a small piece and just lay it on the bed of your machine...the perfect place for your scissors, they don't slide and I always know where they are.
Spent some time at my machine today and got my Designer BOM block done...this is Block 10...only 2 more to go...I keep saying I need to start putting the finishing kit together so I'm ready to put the quilt together when the last block arrives. Better make that a priority...the last block will be here before I blink.
This little form arrived in our mailbox yesterday...I think I spent about 3 minutes filling it out this morning and into the mail it went. It's quick, it's easy, and it's important.
I've been glued to NCAA Men's Basketball...WOW! don't think I've ever seen so many huge upsets...I'll be on the couch tomorrow hand stitching binding down on the baby quilt I finished...I need to stitch fast...the baby came early and arrived yesterday morning...2 weeks early and everything is great. She's beautiful and healthy...and mom's doing well too...now just need to do my job. Enjoy your Sunday!

I Was Almost Late to Another Party
When am I going to catch up? How in the world did I ever work and get stuff done? Where do the days go? I ask myself these questions every single day...When I first saw the Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along, I thought it would be great fun to do...here I am 3 days before block 2 comes out and I'm just getting the first block posted...I have 2 jelly rolls of Chelsea Boutique...a pretty old group of Blackbird Designs...this is going to be lots of fun. But oh dear...I need to get my button up on my blog and I need to figure out how to get my block on Flickr...hopefully I can get that part done, before I have to say I'm LATE! I'm off to see if I can do this!

I'm Almost Late for March
How can I already be behind? I realized this afternoon that I hadn't posted my March Charming Goals yet...so here we go...
I'm going to finish Camden's birthday quilt...and hopefully get it to my quilter.
Get the March Schnibble done.
I saw a new BOM from Country Loft on Nancy's blog and just couldn't resist. I ordered it and got 3 blocks in the mail yesterday...so I need to get those done so I'm caught up. (I borrowed this picture from Nancy's blog, since I don't have mine done...thanks Nancy, you did an awesome job...I a little nervous about this house block.)
This month's Civil War Tribute block...it hasn't arrived yet...I've been looking for it every day in the mailbox.
I want to get 4 small quilts done for Mountain Baby Blankets.
I guess I'll be busy again...you'll usually know where to find me.
