Today being Wednesday, it was my normal, regular day off...so I guess I really just ran around and did stuff like I normally would have...walked the dogs, I have to take them separately until Zack gets better, he can only go for a very short walk outside...went to Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond, did some cleaning in the kitchen, cleaned out the pantry and then went upstairs to tackle the book shelf. I had a smaller shelf that just had 3 shelves and that just wasn't working, so while at Target I got another shelf with more shelves.
Before...I should have taken the picture really before I took them off the shelves
After...it looks so much better...
I have made some real headway in the sewing room and stash room...I think I'll get to do some really serious sewing real soon...maybe tomorrow.
I'm going to have to get used to this time thing...if I keep thinking I have to get everything done in one day, I'll run out of projects way too quickly...Never happen :)

Lots of adjustments to make but it'll be fun.
I see alot of familiar friends on that bookshelf. I used to love spirit of Christmas books.
Don't spend all of your time cleaning even if it needs attention, LOL. Trust me, you will never run out of things to do when you sew and quilt. I've not worked for 10 years outside the home and that cliche about wondering how you ever had time to work is true.
I'll try again...
I always feel so smug sitting and quilting when the house is clean (of course that doesn't happen very often) I'm anxious to see what you will be up to next.
No, one never runs out of projects! Don't worry about that!
You'll slow down to a nice rhythm soon enough . . . in the meantime enjoy your new found freedoms *s*
Congratulations on your retirement!
What a great book collection you have. You may find you are busier in your retirement than you were when you were working! That was my experience.
I would love to poke through your collection of books - looks inviting. I think you will be filling up your days with wonderful
projects that we will get to follow your progress on.
