First Block Done

I didn't get much done today but I did get the first block done of the 2009 Designer BOM done. Oh I'm going to LOVE this quilt...the fabric is gorgeous and is a dream to work with.

We went to the hospital today and visited our friend and delivered the quilt...she loved it. She looks great, she has a long, long way to go, but is determined to get there. Her biggest hurdle is to get her speech back. Please keep her in your thoughts.

I posted some new books on Brown Quilts and More...there are some really good ones...

What a pretty block for sure! I have sworn off BOMs because I can't keep up with them, so I will watch others! What a great idea to have a separate blog for selling things. I think I might have to do that so I can unload a few things when we move. I'm sure your lovely quilt will boost your friend's spirits tremendously!

The first block was great and the instructions perfect. I need to post a photo of mine. I am debating whether to start the finishing kit or not...
