This, That and Some Rehab

Imagine this one...I have gone weeks without blogging and here I am twice in one day!  Shock of shocks!

Last evening after I did my post, we made a homemade pizza for dinner...we had gotten an Italian bread dough at the grocery.  Now whenever we do this, he's in charge of the dough.  Well, he got a bit carried away and thought it would be fun to try to throw it in the air like you see the pros do...silly me said "Oh wait, let me get the camera"...yes we are a little goofy here, but we do have fun!  Assessing the situation...
preparing for the throw...
up in the air!
And what made it even better was that he caught it...YIPPEE!

It's rained again, almost all day...we did have a few times of no rain and we were able to get the boys out without getting soaked...they were much happier today.  The sun even tried to peak out this morning...
well you may have to use your imagination, but this is as close to sun as we've seen in about 4 days.  We've probably gotten 7-8 inches of rain since this started and they're telling us that we're in for a bunch more before this silly storm moves on.

Back to Rehab
...again a big Thank you to Sinta...I got all caught up with the Cotton Club blocks...Month 8
Month 9
and look what arrived in today's mail.
I'm ready!
And while I was in Birmingham the first block of the new Designer BOM from the Fat Quater Shop arrived...it was sure fun to do
...this is going to be a wonderful quilt!

Eye doctor appointment in the morning...maybe he'll have help for these old eyes...I'm sure I need new glasses.

The pizza photos remind me of an episode of the old "I Love Lucy" show. : )
Love your Cotton Club blocks. How nice to be caught up. I wonder what that feels like?

LOVE these pictures---what a fun hubby you have there, Carol. :D I am totally impressed with his pizza abilities. :)
I'm really really concerned about you guys. I've had the Weather Channel on all day and now, 7:40 p.m. (Monday) they're talking about evacuations. I hope you are in a safe place. Sending caring thoughts.

I love your blocks! And I can't believe you let dh throw that pizza crust in the air. I wouldn't let my dh do it, because I would be cleaning up a very big mess. Now I'm in the mood for pizza!!

Thanks for the chuckle, I have done that several times once for the grandkids, they got a big kick out of it. Your blocks are beautiful!

Guess there isn't much else to do but act silly, eat pizza and sew when there is that much rain outside!

Can you believe all this rain we are having?? Yesterday was a gully washer. Today was a little sunny here, with bits of rain on and off. My grass is smiling :-)

Don't you just love the new mystery fabrics? I do! Your block looks great as do your Cotton Club blocks. I have mine laying behind the sofa now, it looks great.

I am still chuckling about the pizza dough. Thank goodness he caught it! Glad you are getting all caught up. I still have this month's Cotton Club blocks to make - they are all cut out and ready to sew.

That's cute that hubby was tossing the dough like that, I would never attempt that, it would probably end up on the floor! You guys are going to need to start growing gills down there if the rain doesn't stop!

Pizzzzza! Did someone say PIZZA? Dolly and I will be right over no matter what the weather. Ummmm

It's a conspiracy! The power companies, light bulb people and reading glass folks are working together to make us all think our eyesight is fading. A brighter lightbulb... I'm sure that's all I really need. ;)

The blocks are wonderful, the quilt in the last post is terrific but seriously, nothing beats the picture of your sweet husband throwing that pizza dough. Mambo Italiano in Florida! I love it.

Keep up the Rehab!
